Window tinting
in Carlsbad
Coastal UV, long I-5 commutes, and a lot of cars that spend the workday in an uncovered business park lot.
What tint does in Carlsbad
Carlsbad splits neatly into two tinting cases. Cars that stay west near the coast deal with steady UV exposure and mild temperatures — there, film is about protecting the interior and your skin rather than fighting heat. Cars that commute inland or sit in the office parks off Palomar Airport Road deal with real heat accumulation over an eight-hour day.
The business park case is the one worth planning around. A vehicle parked in an open lot from 8am to 5pm absorbs heat continuously, and the cabin reaches temperatures well beyond the outside air. Ceramic film reduces how much of that gets in, so the drive home starts comfortable instead of requiring five minutes of full-blast air conditioning.
Carlsbad also has a high proportion of newer vehicles with dense driver-assist and connectivity hardware. Metallic films can interfere with those signals. Everything we install — ceramic and nano-carbon alike — is non-metallic, so GPS, cellular, Bluetooth, keyless entry, and satellite radio are unaffected.
Mobile service in Carlsbad
Carlsbad's newer neighborhoods almost all have garages or wide driveways, which makes for excellent mobile installs. We also work the business parks during the day if leaving your car at home isn't practical.

Questions from
Carlsbad customers
Will tint interfere with my car's sensors or GPS?
No. Signal interference comes from metallic films, and we don't install those. Ceramic and nano-carbon are both non-metallic, so driver-assist sensors, GPS, cell, Bluetooth, and keyless entry all work exactly as before.
Can you tint at the Palomar Airport Road office parks?
Yes. We install in workplace lots throughout Carlsbad during business hours, at the same price as any other appointment. A full vehicle takes 2 to 3 hours.
Is ceramic worth the extra over carbon in Carlsbad?
If your car lives near the coast and parks in a garage, carbon is honestly enough. If it sits in an open lot all day or you commute inland, ceramic's higher infrared rejection is what you're paying for and you'll notice it.
