Ceramic Auto Tint
questions, answered
How much does ceramic window tinting cost in San Diego?
A full-vehicle ceramic tint is $350 for most sedans, SUVs, and 4-door trucks. That covers all four side windows, the rear quarter panels, and the rear windshield. Front windshield tinting is priced separately at $180.
How long does a full ceramic tint installation take?
Most full-vehicle installations take 2 to 3 hours. If you book mobile service we come to your home or office in San Diego County, so you don't lose the day sitting in a waiting room.
Is ceramic tint actually better than dyed or carbon film?
Yes, measurably. Ceramic film uses nano-ceramic particles that reject up to 60% of solar heat and block over 99% of UV rays without the metal content that interferes with GPS, cell, and radio signals. It also stays color-stable instead of fading purple like cheap dyed film.
How dark can I legally tint my car in California?
California allows any darkness on the rear side windows and rear windshield. Front side windows must let more than 70% of light through, so those are done with a light, high-performance film. We keep every install within the state limits.
When can I roll my windows down after tinting?
Wait 3 to 5 days while the adhesive cures. Some haze or small water pockets in the first week are normal and clear on their own as the film dries.
