How much does tint removal cost?
$40 for the front two windows and $200 for a full vehicle. If you're having new film installed at the same time, removal and installation are done in one visit.
Can I remove window tint myself?
You can, and it's the most common way people end up with scratched glass or broken rear defroster lines. Those grid lines sit on the inside surface of the glass and lift right off with the film if the heat and angle are wrong. A replacement rear window costs many times what removal does.
How long does tint removal take?
Between one and three hours depending on how old and how baked-on the film is. Old dyed film that has started bubbling and turning purple takes the longest because it tears instead of pulling off in sheets.
Can you re-tint the same day?
