FAQ

Nano-Carbon Tint
questions, answered

What's the difference between carbon and ceramic tint?

Both reject heat and block UV, and neither interferes with signals. Ceramic uses nano-ceramic particles and rejects noticeably more infrared heat; carbon uses carbon particles and costs less. If budget matters more than maximum heat rejection, carbon is the value pick.

Will nano-carbon tint turn purple?

No. Purple fade happens with cheap dyed films whose dye breaks down in the sun. Carbon particles are color-stable, so the film keeps its black finish for the life of the install.

Does carbon tint block cell or GPS signal?

No. Signal interference comes from metallic films. Carbon film has no metal content, so GPS, cell, Bluetooth, and satellite radio all work normally.

How much is nano-carbon tint in San Diego?

$100 for the front two windows with professional installation. It's a common choice when a vehicle already has dark factory glass in the back and only the fronts need film.
